Last minute gift buying? Last minute "I need to buy something cute or my family will drive me insane" buy? -- You're in luck (if you're in the US) because the Christmas order cut-off date is the 18th! AKA: tomorrow.

I have bought from AfternoonCoffee--based in Springfield, Missouri--and honestly the mug that I got is one of my absolute favorites. (And after seeing the holiday themed ones, I might buy another for myself as well.)

Let me first mention the amazing offer that AfternoonCoffee has for you: any two mugs for $32. This is what I used when I bought from them. It was completely worth it!

These are their two holiday mugs (available in red, green, and blue) that I think are absolutely adorable. In contrast to their other mugs, these have more of the mountainous cabin lodge look versus the standard white mug shape that they use for their other mugs.

This is the one that I almost bought for myself. It's a wrap-around sketch of Hogwarts. How perfect. It's a cute, simple way to show your love for good ol' HP without the usual clunky letters and sayings.

More ways to shout your love for Harry Potter. I absolutely adore this print as it isn't something you typically see. Also, you guys know how I love my totes, and this one is beautiful.

Yes, please.

What would you get from this shop if you got anything (they also have a cute Avengers mug that I have and love)? Tell me down in the comments!

Shop Announcement

Hello there!

My name is Justine, and I am a recent college graduate living in Washington (the state). I am so thankful to be able to run my own little Etsy shop. This is basically my job right now, and it allows me to be a breadwinner for my family (or rather, a cookie-winner)! I am so grateful to all my customers and supporters who have helped me get this far!

My shop is run entirely by me from my home: I answer your messages, package your order, and walk it down to the local post office to mail it to you. It amazes me know that I have customers from all over the world. Wow! I wish I could somehow visit and meet everyone I do business with! Speaking of which, I also do local craft shows, so if you're in the area, please check them out (see the "upcoming local markets" link).

I have a special place in my heart for beautiful Bavaria, Germany where I spent a year as a college exchange student (Universität Passau). In addition to academics and adventure, I also brought back several hundred beer bottle caps that I found on the streets and collected from pubs. I use these in my recycled bottle cap jewelry.

After making up-cycled bottle cap jewelry for over 10 years, I decided to branch out and try creating jewelry in a variety of styles which are now featured in my shop.

Thank you to all my customers and to anyone who just came by to tell me they liked my work; your support encourages me to keep doing what I do!

Thank you for visiting my shop. Browse around, and find something you love!

Warm wishes from the Evergreen State,

Justine

You get it? Do ya?

If you don't. This is the key to 221B Baker St. AKA the residence of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson. This is a really cute and simple necklace (mossy rock not included) that will make you feel slightly like Zoey from Zoey 101, but a nerdy version with a key that you don't know what lock it fits.

Are you the son or daughter of a Greek god or goddess? (If you're reading this, then I am assuming no.)

If not, and if you never get the chance to go to Camp Half-Blood, then this necklace is the perfect way to pretend like you did.

It's pretty much impossible for me to make an etsy post without some kind of Harry Potter item.

I really love this pin (yes! pin!) that you could put on your backpack (!!!).

(I'm a total nerd if you couldn't tell.)

But, really, what better way to display your love for Harry Potter than a pin boasting about the broomstick you wish you could have.

As previously stated, I am a complete and total nerd. Being as such, I really like Doctor Who. And, like many Whovians, would love to be a companion to the Doctor. So, why not get this TARDIS key and pretend like you have?

Do you own any bookish jewelry? If so, what is it and where did you get it? Tell me down in the comments!

Outlander, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones Mugs & Gifts

My absolute favorite thing from Eunice's shop (based in Santa Monica, CA). I actually really, really want this mug.

If you know anything about me, you know that as soon as I finished Outlander in February (? - was it really that long ago?) it became an instant favorite. I actually don't own any Outlander themed  merchandise, but this mug is definitely going to be added to my (very large) mug collection soon.

A two mug set for all the TFIOS fans out there. These are an absolute must have. The black and white "Okay?" "Okay." and each has the quote printed on the back. If I was a TFIOS fan, then these would definitely to my admittedly giant mug collection.

As you probably don't know (because I honestly don't think I've mentioned it here) I have a giant obsession with Downton Abbey. It's everything I've ever wanted in a TV show, and it is just amazing. Actually amazing.

Naturally, you need a mug for each fandom that you claim.

This edition of Etsy Spotlight is where I confess all of my non-bookish fandoms.

The most prominent (and my personal favorite) is Grey's Anatomy. I absolutely love the show, and I wonder if any of you love it too (keep the comments spoiler-free please!). I'm not the biggest fan of typewriter font, but I really love this combination.

Are you a mug addict like I am? Do you want any of these mugs as much as I want them? (I bet I want the Outlander mug more than you do.) Have you heard of Sincerely Eunice? Will you check her out? Tell me down in the comments!

You can never have enough 1) Harry Potter or 2) bookmarks. These are very cute ones with important symbols and shadows of the series along with very popular quotes of the series. Super cute! And they come as a set! Sets are the best.

You can never have enough mugs (at least I can't) because coffee and tea (or water, etc.) are a bookworm's best friend. This is a super cute design that I am honestly in love with (I actually might go and buy it for myself).

And you have to have a matching set, obviously, so you need this print to put on your wall because 1) Harry Potter quote and 2) watercolor and 3) cute typography. It's everything you need.

I am not a GOT fan myself, but if I was: this tote bag would be in my cart. It's so cute and simple and if people didn't know that it was attached to GOT, it would be a cute "mom" tote bag to hold all the books.

Have you heard of this shop yet? You should check it out because it's actually amazing, and she has lots of non-bookish prints as well as bookish ones.

How I Found This Shop

Katie's Book Blog did a post about how she is also obsessed with this new-kid-on-the-block etsy shop. I was definitely intrigued, but I easily dismissed the post. So, when I was searching Harry Potter bookmarks, I was looking for something affordable yet unique. I again came across SkinnyHues.

So, I added not one . . . but three to my cart.

Crini opened her shop in April of this year and has already accrued a five star rating, 176 sales, and 209 admirers.* She currently has twelve bookmarks available for sale.** There are many ones related to fandoms (i.e. Chaos Walking trilogy, Mistborn trilogy, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, The Hunger Games trilogy, The Raven Cycle, Throne of Glass) there are also ones just aimed at booklovers (i.e. owls, "I Ship It"). Many of them have custom color selection as well.

My Products

So, sadly, my favorite of these bookmarks is no longer available for sale. *sad face* The Deathly Hallows and Platform 9 3/4 bookmarks are still available. These are super nice bookmarks. They're lovely. They're made of a canvas-like paper (as you can see in the bottom left of the top picture), so they're not made of super cheap paper.

I am just so happy with these bookmarks, and I would recommend you check Crini out. If not for you, then for a bookish friend because I'm positive there is something in Crini's shop for every book lover.

Which bookmark would you get? What are some other bookish etsy shops I should check out? Tell me down below!
