Stacking the Shelves & Sunday Post [12]: White, Blue, and Green

Stacking the shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews, and it's all about sharing the books that have come into your possession throughout the week, whether it books added to your collection, ebooks, library books, etc. Sunday post is a weekly meme  hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer where bloggers can recap their week, showcase books, and share news.

Tiny rant: when I order something "like new" I expect to recieve something that is similar to something I would pick up in Barnes & Noble. Rant: over.

I have already read this book (and loved  it, in case you're a newbie), but wanted to collect the physical, floppy paperback versions. This however, was not like new, so if you have any suggestions on how to cover a past owner's name on the inside front cover, please leave them in the comments for me!

Library

This month has really been the month of graphic novels and comics for me. With school coming to an end and all of the review and testing that comes with that, I haven't had as much time to dedicate to reading novels as I would like. Because of that, I have really delved into the world of graphic novels and comic books.

I have been waiting  for the day that my library's copy of Black Widow, Vol. 2  was waiting for me. I haven't read it yet, but I am so excited. Similarly, I wanted to delve further into the world of X-Men, and this was one of the ones recommended for new X-Men readers.

Now, I have been avoiding The Kiss of Deception  for a looong time. Mainly because I have tried reading The Princess Bride  and couldn't make myself finish it because I hated it. It was weird. (Please put away the pitchforks, I am going to try again this summer.) However, when my library got this in, I needed to pick it up.

Life Update

So, I kind of just had my last ever week of high school. Except not really, but kind of. There are AP tests for the next two weeks, but I only have to go to "school" for one of them. It's weird and hard to explain.

Basically, I don't really have to go to school anymore, and that means I have more time to read. Yay!

What do you think of the books I got this week? Also, any suggestions for the cover-up of Outlander  that I mentioned? If you do, leave them down in the comments!

Happy Reading!

  4. LOVE IT. Although, the book is obviously better. If you have a hard time getting into the book, I recommend watching it alongside the TV show. They are basically the same.

  5. I have seen the book series at my local bookstore. I have been meaning to pick them up. It good that the tv show kept with the storyline of the book. :D
